How much cheaper are your textbooks?
Our textbook prices are 5% below the publisher's recommended retail price (RRP). Take a full degree bundle and you get a further 2% off.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Delivery is free on Wits campus, in Braamfontein and anywhere in Gauteng. Anywhere else in South Africa we courier your order for R150. You can also collect from our shop: Shop 2, The Matrix Building (ground floor), East Campus, Wits University, 1 Jan Smuts Avenue, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, 2000.
How long does delivery take?
Items in stock are delivered on campus within 1–2 working days. Books we order in from publishers usually take 5–10 working days, and imported language books take longer; we confirm the date when you order.
How do I know I have the right edition?
Each book page shows the edition and ISBN. Where a newer edition exists than your booklist shows, we say so on the page. If your lecturer wants the older edition, message us and we will source it.
How can I pay?
EFT (bank transfer), cash or card on delivery or collection, and bursary or company payment with a formal quotation. See our payment page for details.
Can my bursary or employer pay?
Yes. Ask for a formal quotation from any book page or the bundle builder. We send a PDF quotation on our letterhead and our bank confirmation letter.
Can I return something?
If an item arrives damaged or we sent the wrong item, we replace it or refund you within 7 days. Ordered-in books and jewellery can't be returned for a change of mind. Defective goods are covered for 6 months under the Consumer Protection Act.
Do you supply schools and organisations?
Yes. We supply books and stationery in bulk to schools, NGOs and institutions, including tender supply. Contact us for a quote.
